My name is Karl Nicoll, and I’m a software engineer born, raised and working in the UK. At the moment, I work for ACTIV Financial Systems as a Graduate software developer, making real-time software for handling stock exchange data and delivering it to clients all over the world.

I am a geek, and a hobbyist programmer. I’m an early adopter (as long as it doesn’t cost me a lot of money), and a supporter of the free software movement. I’m a big supporter of net neutrality, and web standards.
